Former West High to have "Makeover" in June
The West Middle School (formerly West High School) has been selected for a "makeover" of its 241,000 sq. ft. building, which presently houses 6th, 7th and 8th grades. The Rockford Sharefest 2010 Project dates are June 18-26, 2010. There are several ways one can volunteer or contribute to the project.

Let's make an Online Scrapbook
You can help! One old newspaper clipping was circulated at a recent breakfast meeting. The article featured classmate Pvt. Bob Pirrello in 1959, having escaped a life threatening situation in Formasa while in the U.S. Marines. 70th Birthday Party Photo Album on CD
More than 340 pictures taken by different classmates during the recent 70th Birthday Party have been written to a CD for viewing. There are scenes from the Coronado Theater tour, the West High Memorabilia Room, the party at Linos and at the Stockholm Inn breakfast. A nominal fee of $3 has been set to cover shipping and handling. Request your copy HERE.

Classmate Directory Still Available
Frank Guzzardo announced at the monthly Committee breakfast that some 20 books are left from initial distribution. Thirty-plus emails received from fellow classmates have exclaimed how great is the Classmate Directory. The $6 price includes shipping. Make your request HERE.

Wow! What a party!
Ninety eight classmates and guests, over 150 persons total, attended the Class of 1957 70th Birthday Bash held at Lino's in Rockford. Greeted by Richard Paeglow at the entrance who was getting pictures of classmates standing next to a friends restored 1957 Ford. The entire event was orchestrated beautifully with a tour of the Coronado Theater, a visit to the West High Memorabilia Room and dinner at Leno's with stand-in M/C Frank Guzzardo. The new classmate directory was well received. A great time was had by all who attended, thanks to the marvelous effort put forth by the WHS Reunion Committee.
